13mmゲージ (13mm gauge)

1/80 16.5mmゲージでは日本の標準的な軌間(1067mm)よりもかなり広い。
そのため、特に蒸気機関車では不自然さが目立った。
そこで、軌間を縮尺に合わせたもので、日本独自のものである。
しかし、逆に1435mmゲージを1/80にすると16.5mmでは狭いので18mmにするという話はあまり聞かない。

As we make a model with 1 / 80 16.5 mm gauge, we get quite more wide in comparison with Japanese standard gauge (1067mm).
Therefore, especially at a steam locomotive unnatural were conspicuous.
Changed gauge from 16.5mm to 13 mm, as a gauge fits to a scale, there, are Japanese unique standard.
It is narrow with 16.5 mm, if they do an opposite 1435 mm gauge to 1 / 80.
However, there aren't a person who enlarges to 18 mm.
